Smooth Street Ballroom Policies
 

Lessons: All Private Lessons and Group Classes are 50 minutes in length, except for the Introductory Lesson, which is 30 minutes. All lessons must be booked with either the Front Desk Staff. Payment: All lessons must be paid for before the start of each lesson. Students will not be allowed to take lessons until all outstanding balances are paid, in full, as per lesson package agreement. This applies to both Private Lesson and Group Class students. Sign-In: Everyone must sign in at the reception desk before entering the ballroom. This includes individuals and couples using the floor for practice time before or after an Independent Lesson. Private Lesson students must initial their cards before the start of each lesson. In addition, group classes will be tracked on Group Class Students’ cards. Cancellation: All cancellations must be made at least 24 hours in advance. Cancellations made in less than 24 hours will be charged for the lesson as Instructors are paid per lessons taught. Exceptions will be made on a case by case basis. The 24 hour cancellation allows us to rebook waiting students with the Instructor. Refund Policy: We have a No Refund Policy. Transfer of Lessons: Private Lessons and Group Classes are non-transferable. Lost or Stolen Items: Smooth Street Ballroom is not responsible for lost or stolen items. Floor Fees: Non-exclusive floor rental for practice is available at $25.00 hour. Please call ahead to verify availability.
